Absolutely Scantastic Ltd is currently one of the few dedicated scanning service providers in the UK - our range of services all involve the scanning of paper or photographic material, and the manipulation of the data captured

The business of Absolutely Scantastic came into being in 1992, when Alan, the company's Managing Director, started undertaking text scanning assignments for a very limited number of publishing companies as a paid hobby while working full-time as an IT Manager. Gradually the volume of work, which started as a gentle trickle, grew to a steady flow, and by mid-1996 the workload was too great to cope with on a part-time basis. Thus, at the beginning of 1997 Alan left his previous employer, set up Absolutely Scantastic Ltd, took on his first employee, and moved into office accommodation.

Our offices are located in Westbourne House, a former 18th century chapel, subsequently converted into a mill building, and recently converted yet again and handsomely refurbished to form managed office space for a number of small businesses.

Westbourne House is located in Farsley, 5 miles to the north-west of Leeds city centre, just minutes from the Leeds outer ring road, and close to Horsforth (England's largest village) and Pudsey.
